Post Malaysian Idol Fever

So what does one do when he/she needs to come to terms with the Malaysian Idol results?

This is what I'm doing. I'm listening to Jaclyn Victor's album. =)

I thought Nita was the more consistent singer. I thought she had so much energy, vocals & appeal. I thought she belted out the idol song, "Mimpi", as though she already owned the song.

But voters thought otherwise. Oh well...

Looking at Daniel... Well, I guessed he improved a lot. Must admit I enjoyed his "Heaven Knows" rendition.

I guess, like what the jury said, they both are already winners, it's not about crowning the winner with a tiara crown & a winner's sash, but it's about making & selling records & I believe the both of them have a good future ahead of them.

Anyhow, I'd stay satisfied with Jaclyn's album until a better one comes out. =)

Drink

I just had a drink. It was a mixture of orange, apple, starfruit, carrot, cucumber and pear. 6 in 1. 100% juice. WHOA!

Kelantan

Am blogging from Kelate, cradle of Malay culture. It's so different here I feel like I'm in another country. Yesterday at Magrib, Teorene and I wanted to buy food but they "shooh" us off because no business is allowed during magrib.

Today, we were at a cultural performance. Silat dance & music. Cool. We were also at museums.

Tommorrow, we are going for a river cruise. Exciting!

Now have to go because some ppl coming in to spray mosquitoes.

joys of life

Today, I went to see my cousin's baby daughter... Born last week... 5 weeks premature... But oh... she's so beautiful!! Tiny little feet, toes & fingers... Tiny little body, eyes, nose & mouth... Lots of black hair... Aiyo...so beautiful... So innocent... A bundle of joy to her parents, grandparents & relatives... Ahh...what joy she brings... Even I was smiling when I looked at her...

Also today, I looked through my friendster friends...something which I haven't done in ages...boy, how I miss so many of them... some of whom I haven't seen in years... and yes, I was smiling too... am glad our paths crossed & that we're friends... am glad for them...what they've been up to & the many things they've done to bless others... and yes, I was smiling because I remembered the fond memories... God, would you please bless my friends? Thanks!
