Was up really early this morning...on my own...and almost everyone in the house is still sleeping. And since there's no personal emails for me to read or reply, but I still wanna enjoy more of klove.com, here I am just jotting down events that happened & maybe some thoughts about them...
Pantai Kerachut! At last, I caught the sunset at Kerachut. Have always wanted to do that. Yu Pei & I messaged more than 30 ppl for a camping trip on the 29th of Jan but only 2 ppl could make it - she & I. =) So, we changed it to the next day, Sun afternoon till Mon morning. This time, we had 10 yes's. At the end, 8 of us went - Tze Woei, Jon, Siao Ping, Lee Na, Yan Yi, Mei Yee, Yu Pei & I. We packed our bags with lots of food & camping equipment & hiked in for about 2 hours. The hike was a little difficult, especially the first part when I was carrying the 2 tents. Heavy man! =) But then Lee Na took over. She's the bionic woman! Super strong! She hikes & runs (with the bag on her shoulders) effortlessly! Our first yr bionic baby. Hehehe... She's the one who said, "Huh? You all bring clothes to bathe ar? Aiyo camping no need to bathe one lah!" Her bag (which I carried from midway) was super light! So, anyway, we hiked, took photos, I ran down a slope...that was extremely shiok!! I'm smiling wide as I remember that running down the slope. Woohoo....!! And then, we reached the bridge that leads to the beach...and what happens? We screamed!! Hahahaha!! The view was FANTASTIC! The sun was almost gonna set & the colours were awesome! We took so many photos & we were not even on the beach yet! =) I remember Mei Yee kept calling out to us, "Aiyo, you all ah. Haven't even sampai the beach. Let's go to the beach lah." We took quite some time but we did get onto the beach...&... took more photos... What to do? We had, I think, 4 cameras at least. The sunset was awesome! The sky was really clear, so I saw the whole fiery ball just being swallowed up by the sea. I had Jon's camera at that time. Took so many many photos. The rest of them were building tents. I just sat/lay on the beach, watching the sunset & absorbed the whole thing. Don't know why but I always had something for the sunset (or sunrise or the beach). When I realized that the rest could be thinking, "What lah this Anne. People working hard building tents & cooking dinner, she pula relaxing on the beach", I walked to the campsite, I helped out. Didn't want to be the kind of survivor in the Survivor shows where everyone talks bad about. Hahah! Maggi mee, eggs & luncheon meat tasted especially nice that evening. Yummy! The sky was really clear too & we spotted a few constellations. That night, after chatting awhile, we slept under the stars...under the stars...under the stars... Wow! That was so cool... Till it became to "cool" (excuse me for the pun). =) In the middle of the night, a few of us had to take shelter in the tents. The next morning, we had sandwiches for brekky & left by boat with Encik Atan. The sea was a bit choppy. So, our boat was shooting up & slamming down on the sea, again & again. That was really fun! We reached the jetty & 1 last adventure...climbing up the ladder! Not an ordinary one but a very high & rickety one. We were like, "Huh? Panjat ni ke Encik Atan? Wah, tinggi sangat lah." Well, he assured us & each one of us managed. Not bad lah... Of course no one can compare with our bionic baby - Lee Na. Like as though her legs got spring. Hahaha! Twas a good trip! A very good one!
Now that the whole house is awake & that I've got 2 people disturbing me now...I better postpone & write again tomorrow.
